Romy Settbon Moore

Associate Osteopath

Romy is a dedicated healthcare professional who graduated with an Integrated Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost) from the Health Sciences University (formerly University College of Osteopathy), earning distinction and several prestigious awards, including the Gold Medal for Outstanding Contribution, the Vice-Chancellor’s Prize for Clinical Excellence, the Medal for Best Overall Performance, and the L.M. Naidoo Prize for Practical Osteopathic Skills. Alongside osteopathic practice, she is also currently studying Medicine at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Romy has gained valuable clinical experience at the Blackfriars Community Clinic, UCO Expectant Mothers and Women's Health Clinic, and Blanchard HIV Clinic, enhancing her ability to address complex patient needs, collaborate with local medical and social services, and manage challenging conditions like coccydynia. Her published work exploring the relationship between childhood trauma and autoimmune disease also reflects her interest in the long-term health impacts of adversity and how these inform clinical care.

A consultation typically involves a comprehensive review of medical history and a physical examination, with consideration of lifestyle, diet, and emotional well-being. Treatments may include manual therapy, personalised exercise prescription, and health advice.

With a compassionate, patient-centred approach, Romy offers a uniquely comprehensive form of care, ensuring each person receives thoughtful, individualised treatment designed to promote long-term wellness and resilience.
